This is a bookend made from a single piece of North American Black Walnut. We select FAS-grade imported solid wood, no veneer, no MDF, allowing decades of wood grain to remain intact on the surface; grain-matched cutting, precise CNC shaping, and multiple rounds of hand sanding ensure rounded edges that won't damage books or hands. Finished with only a natural wood wax oil, it retains a subtle wood fragrance. In the study, living room, or on a child's desk, it is the quiet presence that keeps books neatly upright, and a thoughtful gift for teachers, friends, or clients.
